Looma

Before Gaia made a home for the living creatures on her surface, she populated the depths first, the great bodies of water that filled her soul. 

 

Deep within her veins & far beyond the suns reach is where obscure metals &     plant life strived.

 

When the sap from one particular plant was mixed with another it created bioluminescence; the first light source.

 

Intelligent life below used this & incased it in a magic whirlpool, lighting their vast kingdoms.

 

These were called Loomas.
